Burgundy & Gold peppered with workday odor
Permeating through the Rosslyn tunnels
As cassowary-like commuters cram
The cabs of the orange line train to Vienna
Green dress beckons
Alluring to the morning eyes
Adoring gaze falls
On the unzippered long back
I Am full of flaws
And if you can love me With all my flaws
Why! Then You are just perfect for me!
Your face is a fantastical mystery
And your voice enticingly seductive
Carries m away from here
To the land of fantasies.
There seems to be a parallel world
That I long to fuse together
But the run away train keeps running away
Leaving the tracks apart.
All of a sudden the train stops
And my work holds truth in witness
To the long walks on sandy beaches
To the gorgeous sunsetting over yonder.
There seems to be a world of duality
That I don’t want to keep separate anymore
Where the masquerade begins by nightfall
The players leave at sunrise, still masked.
All ver again I am in your world
Of loving words and soft types
As the eagles soar above us in lazy circles
Around the dreams we relentlessly type.
But then with the click of a mouse
My world remains parallel
As my computer is ready to shut down
Your face remains a fantastical mystery.
Final Draft. My novel “The Senator” has morphed into a screenplay. Interesting how the creative writing has a life of its own. People ask me all the time: when are you going to publish? I say, no rush. I am in no rush through life. There is just death at the end of it all and then all this becomes yours – royalty free too, maybe! Then I realize, I publish here.
Yes! I have decided to embark on another scorpuis odyssey while on vacation on the fine beaches of North Myrtle and Charleston – two of my favorite beach bum vacation spots. The odyssey may turn out to be a second draft of one of my novels or play that is begging to jump off the shelves and take a few more steps into the printdom! Hope you will join me. Below is a good read to entice you into creative writing. Have a Good Read!
